Leadership advisory
A place to think without performing
The more responsibility a leader carries, the fewer places there may be where they can think completely freely. This is a confidential, independent thinking partnership for senior leaders navigating consequential decisions, organizational complexity and situations where there may be no simple or risk-free answer.
When leaders seek advisory
When decisions carry weight, organizations become difficult to navigate, or responsibility feels less clear, it helps to have a trusted space to think things through.
Some decisions are too consequential, and some organizational situations too complex, to think through alone.
I am carrying a decision with real consequences and need to think it through with someone who understands this level of responsibility.
The organization is changing — a restructuring, a new mandate, a new board — and I need to see the system clearly before I act.
I am asked to hold more than the role formally contains, and I want to lead from my own judgement rather than from pressure.

Coaching develops the leader. Advisory brings an independent perspective to the decisions the leader faces, informed by relevant leadership experience.
Coaching focuses on developing the leader. Advisory creates space to think through complex decisions, responsibility and organizational realities, bringing an independent perspective informed by relevant leadership experience.
In coaching, the emphasis is on the client’s own development, insight and choices. In advisory, I may contribute more actively by offering perspective, challenging established ways of thinking and drawing on my own leadership experience. In both, the decision remains with the client.

Before we begin
Is this consulting?
No. I do not take decisions for you or deliver a report. Advisory is a space to think more deeply about decisions, responsibility and organizational reality, with perspective, challenge and lived leadership experience. Management consulting or organizational design can be contracted as a separate, clearly defined format.
Do I need to be in transition?
No. Clients may be growing into greater responsibility, adapting to a changed environment, carrying a consequential decision, or considering a transition.
Will you tell me what to do?
No. In advisory I may offer perspective and challenge more directly, but responsibility for the decision remains with you.
Can an organization sponsor the work?
Yes. Sponsored coaching or advisory can be contracted with clear objectives and confidentiality boundaries.
Wherever you are in the process, we can start with a conversation
