The human being behind the leader
Physician · WHO/UN leadership · coaching · psychoanalytic training

What guides my work
My professional path has taken me from medicine to international leadership, and more recently into executive coaching, leadership advisory and the study of psychoanalysis. For me, they are all connected by a common principle: responsibility to the people who place their trust in me. Competence, ethical judgement, and continuous learning are essential to honouring that trust.
One question has remained central to my work: how people navigate responsibility, uncertainty and change — and what these experiences mean for the person living through them.
The experience that shapes my approach

Medicine
Clinical experience taught me to observe carefully, listen closely and look beyond what is immediately apparent.
WHO and the UN system
More than 25 years in senior leadership roles have built my experience in navigating complex situations, making difficult, high-stakes decisions under uncertainty, and understanding the human cost of responsibility.
Executive Coaching and Leadership Advisory
Today I bring together firsthand leadership experience, professional coaching competences and an independent perspective to support leaders in navigating responsibility, choices and change.
Psychology
Professional training and supervised clinical practice deepen my understanding of inner life, relationships, and the psychological meaning of human experience. This work forms distinct professional practice.
Beyond the Turning Point
Through conversations and writing, I explore leadership, identity, and the human being beyond professional roles.
