Executive coaching

For growth, adaptation and transition

For leaders whose next stage requires more than continuing to do what made them successful before. The work develops your capacity to lead, choose and act at the level of responsibility you now carry.

Who comes to coaching

Three moments of entry

Growth, adaptation and transition — the three moments at which coaching usually begins.

  1. I have moved into a larger role, and the way I used to work no longer fits it.

  2. Everything around me has changed — the organization, the mandate, the people — and I am adapting in real time.

  3. I am in the middle of a transition and want to lead through it rather than simply survive it.

Coaching or advisory?

Coaching develops the leader. Advisory brings an independent perspective to the decisions the leader faces, informed by relevant leadership experience.

Coaching focuses on developing the leader. Advisory creates space to think through complex decisions, responsibility and organizational realities, bringing an independent perspective informed by relevant leadership experience.

In coaching, the emphasis is on the client’s own development, insight and choices. In advisory, I may contribute more actively by offering perspective, challenging established ways of thinking and drawing on my own leadership experience. In both, the decision remains with the client.

Over the course of my 26 years in leadership, I’ve gained significant experience, but working with Dr Akjemal has been a game-changer. As the business owner, leading a team of over 80 staff and driving transformative changes to enhance production line efficiency, visibility, and business expansion is no easy feat. Leadership can often feel like a lonely journey, and having Akjemal by my side has been invaluable.

This experience has proven that even with extensive experience, there are always opportunities for growth. Whether it’s navigating challenges, refining leadership and strategic approaches, or making tough decisions, Akjemal provided the insight and support I needed to stay focused and effective.

Thanks to this empowered relationship, I have been able to lead and navigate the complexities of organizational growth. It reinforces the idea that development and learning are crucial at any stage of one’s career. I can confidently say that the work we’ve done together has had a profound impact on my leadership and the continued success of my business.
