This policy explains how anatomyofgrowth.com (the site) handles personal data when you visit it, write to me through one of its forms or subscribe to the newsletter.
Who is responsible
The controller of your data is Dr Akjemal Magtymova (Anatomy of Growth), Ontario, Canada. For any question about your data, write to info@anatomyofgrowth.com.
Applicable privacy laws
Anatomy of Growth is based in Ontario, Canada, and handles personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy legislation, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and other applicable data protection requirements.
What I collect and why
The Start a Conversation form. Your name, email address, your role and organization if you give them, and your message; a request sent from the Speaking page is marked as an invitation to speak. I use them to reply to you and to arrange a first conversation. The legal basis is your request: steps taken before a possible agreement.
The form of the psychological practice. Your name, email address, age, time zone, your gender, the days and times that suit you and your occupation if you give them, the language you prefer and a few sentences about what brings you; the form asks you not to include detailed medical or other sensitive information. I use them to reply to you and to agree on a first meeting. The legal basis is your request and, as what you write may concern your health, your explicit consent, which you give by sending the form.
The newsletter. Your email address, the language of the page and the page where you subscribed. I use them to send you the newsletter after you confirm your subscription. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the link in every letter.
Protection against spam. When you send a form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the request comes from a person, and a short-lived counter of requests per IP address limits abuse. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in keeping the forms working.
Analytics. If you accept cookies in the banner, Cloudflare Zaraz loads Google Analytics 4 to count visits and actions on the site, such as a click on Start a Conversation, in aggregate form. Sending the form of the psychological practice is not reported to analytics. Analytics cookies are set only after your consent; see the Cookie policy.
I do not sell your data and do not use it to build advertising profiles.
Where the data is processed
- Cloudflare hosts the site, runs the forms and Turnstile, and keeps a backup copy of form requests for 90 days.
- Resend delivers the messages from the forms to me and a confirmation to you.
- MailerLite keeps the newsletter list.
- Calendly is used when you choose a time for a conversation after the Start a Conversation form; it processes what you enter there under its own privacy policy.
- Google, through Google Analytics 4 and Cloudflare Zaraz, if you accept analytics cookies.
Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States. Such transfers rely on the safeguards the providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long the data is kept
- Form requests: Initial inquiries that do not result in a coaching or psychological practice engagement are retained for up to 12 months after the last contact, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
- Psychological practice — clinical records: Clinical records are retained following the record-retention standards of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), as a voluntary professional benchmark, alongside applicable legal requirements.
- Executive coaching records: Coaching records are retained in accordance with applicable legal requirements, professional ethical standards, and the terms of the coaching agreement.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Anti-spam counters: up to 10 minutes.
- Analytics: as set in Google Analytics.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, a restriction of its processing and a copy in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. To use these rights, write to info@anatomyofgrowth.com.
Cookies
The site’s own code sets no cookies; your cookie choice is kept in the browser’s local storage. Cloudflare, which delivers the site, may use strictly necessary security cookies. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with the date of the change.
